LIHUE Kaikeha, INC. was awarded $5,400 from the Hawaii Tourism Authority and $3,000 from the Office of Hawaiian Affairs to host the second Garden Island Boogie Board Classic.
LIHUE — Kaikeha, INC. was awarded $5,400 from the Hawaii Tourism Authority and $3,000 from the Office of Hawaiian Affairs to host the second Garden Island Boogie Board Classic.
Kaikeha, INC. is a nonprofit with purposes to engage youth of Hawaii in water-sport activities and foster a lifelong connection with the ocean by nurturing a competitive athletic spirit.
The classic will take place at Prince Kuhio Beach Mother’s Day weekend, May 9 and 10.
