KILAUEA — Learn all about mushrooms, including which ones you can eat, at a symposium and tea in Kilauea aimed at illuminating the world of “Fascinating Fungi.”
It is set for 5:30 to 8:30 tonight at the Garden Ponds Nursery in Kilauea.
Mushroom expert Tammy Davis will be there, and has a 25-year history of hunting mushrooms.
Mushroom-hunters are encouraged to bring photos and specimens for discussion and identification.
There will also be a demonstration of how to grow edible mushrooms.
