The Waimea High School volleyball team finished second falling to Damien 25-19,25-11,25-14 in three games the 2019 New City girls High School volleyball championships.
The Menehune, who finished 11-0 in the round one, and two of the Kauai High School’s Volleyball, to capture the second seed, fell to the No. 1 seeded Damien.
According to Brandi Hori-Moises, this is the best finish in school history for the Waimea volleyball team.
