LIHUE — Kauai’s credit unions have launched their Eighth Annual Kauai’s Credit Union food drive in time for the holiday season.
Representatives of the different credit unions, including Gather Federal Credit Union, the Kauai Government Employees Federal Credit Union, the Garden Island Federal Credit Union, Teachers Federal Credit Union, and McBryde Federal Credit Union collected at the Kukui Grove Gather FCU to launch the food drive that runs today through Nov. 15 at any of the participating credit unions and its branches.
Sharing the Thanks of Giving has set a goal of $25,000 in food and financial contributions that will be contributed to the Kauai Independent Food Bank to help with its mission of providing healthy and nutritious food for keiki and kupuna.
Contributions can be made at participating credit unions.
