HONOLULU — The state Senate is accepting job applications for the 2020 legislative session.
Working at the state Senate is an opportunity to work in a public-service organization, work closely with elected officials and the public, and learn more about the legislative process.
Session jobs require commitment of up to six months, depending on the position. Most will begin on Jan. 2 and end on the last day of the legislative session.
Senate employees working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for health insurance.
The lone Kauai state senator is Ronald D. Kouchi, Senate president.
