HONOLULU — As part of its Centennial Service Campaign in 2019, Servco Pacific Inc. is offering a two-year loan on four Toyota or Subaru vehicles to up to 10 different nonprofits.
Through a request-for-proposals process administered by the Hawai‘i Community Foundation, nonprofits must describe how the vehicles will be used to enhance services they provide in the community.
During the two-year use of the vehicle, the nonprofit must maintain insurance and proper service of the vehicle, as well as be responsible for any damage. Nonprofits must be headquartered in Hawaii and provide services on the islands of Oahu, Maui, Kauai or Hawaii Island.
“There are a lot of nonprofits in Hawaii that could really use a vehicle to enchance the services they provide, and we can help,” said Mark Fukunaga, chairman and CEO of Servco.
“As part of our centennial celebrations this year, we are dedicated to showing aloha to the organizations that are working to make a difference in Hawaii.”
Applications are available online through HCF’s website, and the application deadline is Monday, Oct. 21.
The application requires answers to questions regarding types of services the nonprofit provides, how the vehicles would be put to use, and how the nonprofit will measure the benefits of the vehicle’s use.
Winners will be announced in December. For RFP instructions and applications, visit
