So, are you going to the East Kauai Lions Club (first!) spaghetti luncheon (yes, they have to-go plates, too!) Sunday at the Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall? Doors to the craft fair and silent auction open at 9 a.m. (Sharon Sahara said shes supposed to meet up with Bernie Sakoda and state Rep. Nadine Nakamura before the spaghetti starts serving at 10 a.m.), and the Kauai High School Leo Club (they were busy volunteering at the Kauai Independent Food Bank Wednesday) are supposed to be helping do everything.

Before that, Josie Pablo is waiting to see you at the Seventh (has it been that many?) Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital breast cancer walk this morning on the coastal path behind Kapaa Neighborhood Center (wear pink — nope, Kauai Interscholastic Federation officials Kelvin Moniz andRandal Valenciano have blue penalty flags in observance of prostate cancer awareness!), where Kimberly Hope will unleash her violin.
Happy birthday to all those October “birthday twins” (Wilma Chandler shares her day with Steven Freitas, and Geri Bulosan has the same birthday as Mike Kano) who were doing the Halloween-themed monthly Kapaa High School Class of 1965 reunion lunch (mahalo for the fancy Japanese cookie, Wilma!) at Kukui Grove Center’s food court, sharing the area with the Kauai High School Class of 1965 and the Kalaheo Senior Center kupuna (they’ll be doing entertaining at the annual Na Kupuna Council craft fair Oct. 12 at the Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall).
And, if you still need stuffs to do, Jack Hodges (yes, he’s the pickle ball ambassador) will will hosting the Scott Kelby Photowalk starting at the Kukuiolono Park parking lot at 8:30 a.m. Saturday (do we still have time to register? It’s free!).
