Myrna Mae K. Costales
Myrna Mae K. Costales of Kekaha passed away on Sept. 7, 2019, at Straub Medical Center, at the age of 71.
She was a branch manager for Bank of Hawaii’s Waimea Branch.
She was preceded in death by parents Raymond M. Judd Jr. and Carinthia H. Kahalewai Judd of Honolulu, brother William Judd, sisters-in-law Carol Judd and Gail Judd of Honolulu, and grandson Shayden Csigi of Maui.
She is survived by husband Martin E. Costales, brothers Raymond (Stella) Judd III and Carol Judd, and sister Elizabeth (Willy) Funn, sons Paul (Edie) Cosner, Joseph (Teresa) Cosner and Edwin Costales, daughters Cari Ann (Wojo) Csigi and Patricia (Tim) Drury, 11 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 12, at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Church in Waimea, with visitation from 8 to 10 a.m. and Mass to follow.
Inurnment will be held at 2 p.m. at Kauai Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe.
Stanley Shuji Nagata
Stanley Shuji Nagata passed away at home in on Sept. 6, 2019, at the age of 85. He was born on Oct. 28, 1933, in Waimea, and was an electronics technician.
He was preceded in death by parents Toyoji and Ichino Nagata, brother Frederick Nagata and sister Lorraine Yamamoto.
He is survived by wife Thelma Nagata of Waimea, sons Aaron Nagata of Mililani and Ryan Nagata of Ewa Beach, daughter Avis Nanbu of Mililani, grandchildren Daralynne (Micah) Reichman, Dayson Nanbu, Bryce Nagata and Candyce Nagata, great-grandchild Arianna Reichmann, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be on Sunday, Oct. 6, at Garden Island Mortuary, with visitation from 2 to 3 p.m. and services at 3 p.m.
The family requests aloha attire and that flowers be omitted.

Rosalia Viernes Erorita
Rosalia Viernes Erorita of Hanamaulu passed away on Aug. 29, 2019, at the age of 98.
She was born on June 30, 1921, in damping, Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte, Philippines.
She was preceded in death by parents Pedro and Margarita Viernes, husband Lijardo Erorita and sister Criselda Edu.
She is survived by daughters Remy (Eddie) Gudoy of Lihue and Gloria Suniga of the Philippines, sons Julio Erorita of Lihue, Felix (Nelia) Erorita of Lihue, Regoberto (Yolanda) Erorita of Kalaheo and Ricarte (Merlita) Erorita of Lihue, 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, sister Maria Sagucio of Honolulu, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Oct. 5, at Aloha Church in Lihue. Visitation will be held from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. and services will be celebrated at 10 a.m.
Burial will follow at Lihue Cemetery.
The family suggests casual attire.

Gary Dean Ramos
Gary Dean Ramos passed away on Sept. 12, 2019, at the age of 63. He was born on April 27, 1956.
He was a drywall laborer.
He was preceded in death by mother Remedios Ramos.
He is survived by father Gary Ramos, daughters Tammy Lu‘uloa, Rio Standridge (Ramos) and Remedios Ramos, three grandchildren, and by numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held on Sunday, Sept. 29, at Garden Island Mortuary, with visitation from 1 to 2 p.m., with a celebration of life at 2 p.m.

Darlene Keiko Pu‘u
Darlene Keiko Pu‘u passed away on Oahu on Sept. 16, 2019, at the age of 65. She was born on Aug. 8, 1954, in Lihue, and retired as a protocol officer at the U.S. Navy Pacific Missile Range Facility at Barking Sands.
She was preceded in death by father Kenichi Shimogawa.
She is survived by husband Jeffery Pu‘u, sons Adrian (Tammy) Pu‘u of Lawai, Aeson (Robyn) Pu‘u of Waimea, daughter Kainoa (Dan) Sheldon of Kalaheo, grandchildren Kiani (Shaston) Oshiro, Mahina Pu‘u, Lily Pu‘u, Nakoa Pu‘u, Dallin Sheldon, Kawena Pu‘u and Kaimalie Pu‘u, mother Mary Shimogawa of Kalaheo, brothers Duane Shimogawa Sr. of Lawai and David (Rosanne) Shimogawa of Kalaheo, sisters Kathy (Ricky) Carveiro of Lawai and Debbie Bahnmiller of Wailua, and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 5, at Kalaheo Missionary Church, with visitation from 9 to 10:30 a.m., service at 10:30 a.m., and lunch to follow.
