LIHUE — Malama Pono Health Services is hosting a grand opening of its new clinic from 3 to 5:30 p.m. today.
Located at 4370 Kukui Grove Street, Suite 115, the clinic offers state-of-the-art exam rooms and modern facilities.
The nonprofit founded in 1986 offers many services including a women’s wellness clinic, pregnancy testing and referrals, a smoking-cessation program, transgender services and substance-abuse referrals.
It also has a mobile-outreach vehicle that brings services to at-risk populations.
Mistee Bailey-Myrick, president and CEO, approached the owners of Kukui Grove Executive Center about opening there.
“After many months of careful planning, the dream of a new clinic has come to fruition. We welcome all who need our services to turn to us,” said Bailey-Myrick.
Malama Pono Health Services has been serving people regardless of income for over 30 years.
