CABO SAN LUCAS, Mexico — Residents and tourists hunkered down in homes, shelters and hotels as Hurricane Lorena menaced Mexico’s resort-studded Baja California Peninsula on Friday, threatening damaging winds, flash floods and life-imperiling surf.
