ELEELE — Roadwork continues in Eleele and Hanapepe on weekdays through Sept. 27, according to the county Department of Public Works.
GP Maintenance Solutions is doing seal-coating of roads and grass-cutting and weed control of shoulders.
The following areas are affected:
• Portions of the Eleele Subdivision through Sept. 18, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.;
• Puolo Road and Hanapepe access road, near Hanapepe Stadium, from Monday to Wednesday, Sept. 9 to 11, from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.;
• Portions of the Eleele Subdivision from Thursday, Sept. 12 to Friday, Sept. 27, from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
There will be no access for vehicles on these streets or grassy shoulders, entering or exiting.
Work may be extended pending weather conditions.
The work zone will be coned off to prevent anyone from driving or stepping on wet materials. There will be “No Parking” barricades and signs.
Appropriate arrangements should be made to accommodate the necessary road work. Vehicle parking on the streets within the work zones will not be allowed. Any vehicle left on the street or grassy road shoulders within the work zones after 7:30 a.m. will be towed at owner’s expense.
