WAILUA HOMESTEADS — The county Department of Water announced a water-service shutdown scheduled for customers on Hauiki Road and Kini Place in Wailua Homesteads Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., weather permitting.
The shutdown is necessary to allow contractor, JDS Construction LLC, to connect a new, six-inch water line to the Wailua-Kapaa water system.
