Louise was among those helping Stacie Chiba Miguel and Pillare Mukai distribute those special 10th anniversary tote bags (the girls even had Justin Pajela manning a table) during the Kauai Culinary Market Wednesday (no stones here, as Sandy Poenheldt hid everything in the Midwest, and Ku‘u Breen was doing the solo thing at the soup table, as Holly Ka‘iakapu is still in Spain).
The special 10th anniversary tote bag designer Shannon Hiramoto brought along a group of Garden Island Arts Council volunteers (how many times this week are we going to see Carol Yotsuda?) to help shoppers (Jaimilee Jiminez said making tote bags in a mu‘u mu‘u is a lot easier than throwing clay) create their own bags (did you see that cute “ET” version created by Ian Murray?).
Sara Miura brought over special “10” balloons for Quiksilver (yes, they were selling tote bags, too!) because that shop will be celebrating its 10th anniversary at The Shops in “the 10th month (hey, that’s October, coming up real soon!).” Dave Andersland (Jessika Cristobal must’ve been doing the “sleep” thing following her appearance in “Chicago”) brought out the 2019 Artisan Flave Award that the Salty Wahine Gourmet Sea Salts earned for its hot lava salt (Dave said Laura Cristobal Andersland created this when she was only 11 years old) to flavor the celebration.
