WAIPOULI — Kauai Medical Clinic recently welcomed Dr. Sierra Pena to its staff at the new clinic in Kapaa. She specializes in women’s health, well-child care and adolescent health, and whole-family care.
Pena has more than 17 years of experience as a family medicine physician and medical school instructor. Board certified in family medicine, she received her medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine, and completed her internship and residency at University of Washington Swedish Medical Centers.
“As a family medicine physician, it is my privilege to accompany patients on their journeys toward better health,” Pena said. “No matter their age, gender or health concerns, every person in the beautiful Kauai community deserves the opportunity to live healthier.”
Pena is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology. Outside of work, she enjoys practicing yoga, swimming and spending time with her family.
