Isaiah Pongasi-Adric was arrested and returned to KCCC custody about 10:45 a.m. today. Jeffrey Kelekoma Jr. is still missing.
On Aug. 4, Pongasi-Adric and Kelekoma Jr. were discovered missing from the Lifetime Stand minimum security dorms during a headcount conducted just before 11 p.m.
Kelekoma Jr., 37, is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 220 pounds. He has brown hair and eyes. Kelekoma Jr. is awaiting trial for charges of assault, abuse of a family/household member, resisting an order to stop a motor vehicle, terroristic threatening and unlawful imprisonment.
Both men face an added escape charge.
Anyone who sees Kelekoma Jr. is asked to call 911.
Kelekoma seems more adaptive in local lifestyle and if he wants to avoid capture, would probably camp out in the mountains and go hunting and fishing. Better yet, go farm the world famous Kauai Electric pakalolo and supply the mafia who provides protection for this high cash crop.
Cops are not what you think and many are corrupt, but money always talks.
They should have told the police officers they were just trying to protect Maunakea, then the law would not have applied to them!

I struggle to understand why the missing inmate from KCC who has been arrested so many times for assault, battery and using power tools to torture someone, would be in a minimum security area.
This man is obviously a threat to others and mostly women. Not only does he get plea deal and is detained within minimum security.
Shame on the prosecutors office now more people are in danger with the man still missing,.
