Kazuto Moriwake
Kazuto Moriwaki passed away in Lihue, on July 7, 2019, at the age of 97. He was born Aug. 3, 1921, in Waimea. He was a teacher and Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife Setsuki Moriwake.
He is survived by his son Mark (Susan) Moriwake of Hanapepe; daughters, Dawn (Darren) Murata of Omao, Wendy (Larry) Moriwake of Hayward, Calif.; 8 Grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brother Kiyoto Moriwake of Honolulu; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
Private services to be held. No koden.
Arrangements were provided by Garden Island Mortuary.
Florentino Salvoro Catubig
Florentino Salvoro Catubig, 89, of Kapaa, passed away on July 12, 2019. He was born in Sibulan, Philippines on April 20, 1930, and retired as a carpenter and farmer.
He is preceded in death by his wife Concisa Catubig and 5 siblings.
Florentino is survived by 10 children, Julia Mercado, Virgelia Casimiro, Severino Catubig, Maria Asuncion Whatmore, Gorgonio Catubig, Paciencio Catubig, Benjac Catubig, Expidito Catubig, Renito Catubig, Walter Catubig; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Memorial Serivces and burial will be held in the Philippines.
