Wrapping up the 10-day celebration and tribute to the culture and life during the plantation-days era, people surged through the gates at the Anne S. Knudsen Park following the colorful parade to enjoy the day-long celebration in the park with its offerings of food, keiki activities, a silent auction, two (not one) tents of crafters, and nonstop entertainment that was kicked off with the rousing performances by the Navy’s U.S. Pacific Fleet Band and Tsunami Taiko.
The next big parade on the Kauai calendar is the Veterans Day parade Nov. 2 in downtown Kapaa.
