The Koloa Plantation Days, Year of the Paniolo, will close this weekend with a gala pau hana party, The Flavors of Kukuiula starting at 5:30 p.m. for an evening of street food done up, plantation style, and capped with the Wally Rita Y Los Kauaianos providing kachi-kachi music.

The historic Plantation Days parade and ho‘olaule‘a, winds down the week, Saturday at the Anne Knudsen Park with roads being shut down from 9 a.m.
Sunday, the Kukuiula Canoe Club will host the year’s final event — the Family Fun Run/Walk— starting at 6 a.m. at the Poipu Beach Park.
The island celebrated 10 days of culture and lifestyle from the plantation era, starting with the 3-day rodeo that was won by Wyatt Rita.
More entertainment, talks, and recreational activities reminiscent of the plantation days filled the week at various locations in Koloa and Poipu.
