Eva Domingo (did she win?) was the first one to finish the networking bingo (drank coffee, Fred Cowell!) when ProService Hawaii partnered with the Kauai Chamber of Commerce for the business after hours that got forced inside from the Puna Court at the Kauai Marriott Resort &Beach Club Thursday when Mother Nature decided it was time to open the faucets (we needed the rain after all that heat and dry spell!).

Janice Akiyama of FM97 had to solo since Ron Wood was off on a Vacations Hawaii gig, and Kelvin Moniz (Kauai Independent Food Bank got 432 pounds of food and $48 from the Mayor-a-thon food drive!) was busy networking along with Denise Roberts and the KQNG Radio Group wahine.
Great job, Stanton Saiki, Alex Foster, Will Galske and Mark Synek of ProService Hawaii, and Mark Perriello and his Charlie’s Angels crew (Anna Baudouin was excited to try out her new lens!) on another great event that made a good launching point for the Contractors Association of Kauai membership meeting, where the CAK presented $9,000 in scholarships!
Kudos to Blaise Boyle and the Beck’s Hybrids ohana on delivering the first load (they need to find out where the Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital receiving area is) of corn under the Hawaii Health Systems Corporation Kauai Region farm-to-table program (Carrice Caspillo Gardner is waiting to eat at either KVMH or Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital).
Okay, time to go aloha Dickie Chang, who celebrates 25 years of Wala‘au Productions at the Kilohana luau pavilion (wonder what Beth Haddock has planned for grinds).
