HONOLULU — The wife of reality TV bounty hunter Duane “Dog” Chapman is in a medically induced coma.
The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reported Sunday that Beth Chapman is in the intensive care unit of Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu.
A representative for the family released a statement Saturday night saying that only immediate family are allowed access to the 51 year old.
Chapman was diagnosed with lung cancer in September 2017 and said in November that the cancer had returned despite surgery.
The family says she was hospitalized in April due to fluid accumulation in her lungs and underwent a procedure to relieve pressure.
The Chapmans starred in the reality TV series “Dog the Bounty Hunter” and recently appeared in “Dog & Beth: On the Hunt,” both of which were filmed in Hawaii.

You have to admit, that even though putting someone through an induced coma to treat cancer of the throat is a painful experience both physically and mentally.
However, you have to admit that Beth Chapman during the days when they were on a regular television program, she treated other like dirt. Case in point, on her regular visits to some hair saloon in Kailua, she often ridicule those workers there while often referring to her role in that television network.
Sometimes its best to remain humble even when others are not as fortunate as yourself and treating others in a bad way often comes back to you.
Harry…your cruelty knows no bounds. Is this the result of our leader who demonstrates extreme cruelty, abuse, and malignant verbiage at every turn that gives permission to your shameful comment?
Ruthan, why don’t you go ask those hair stylists at that certain Kailua beauty saloon? Its been documented in a certain article, if you only did the research yourself. She treated those stylists with disrespect, thinking she was some type of high class queen because of her involvement on that Bounty Hunter show on TV. Besides, her husband, Dog did not even want to arrest his own drug dealing son. what a hypercrite.
I think you mean ‘hypocrite’? By the way, any hairdresser who admits to creating that 1970’s mop on her sweet head should be fired!
