While the real estate market has flattened out this year, it’s still expensive to buy a home. All veterans deserve every opportunity at home ownership or if they already own, to refinance to their benefit.
That one reason why the Veterans Administration home loan limits for Kauai County have gone up to $726,525 for 2019, which increases the purchasing power for veterans who want to purchase or refinance using their entitlement.
Tony Dias, a VA home loan specialist in Hawaii, will be hosting a free seminar at the Kauai Veterans Center from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday. This seminar, per a press release, is where veterans can learn how to utilize their VA home loan benefit to purchase or re-finance a home up to $726,525 with no money down and no Private Mortgage Insurance.
Veterans can also learn how to take advantage of their benefit to have more than one VA loan at a time. The seminar also addresses refinancing into a VA home loan from other loan programs to lower monthly payments.
In May, Dias and his team helped 153 families buy their first home or save money on their monthly payments. People are kept informed throughout the loan process — helping keep a 30-day closing. Dias and his team appreciate the trust that real estate partners and veterans put in their team to get the job done and make a difference.
Dias has been educating veterans in the islands, California, Texas and Washington for over 17 years and has changed the lives of thousands of families and Veterans who have served our country. With so many veterans on Kauai who are unaware of the benefits that they have earned through their service in the military and Dias said his passion is to educate them regarding what they have earned.
The seminar is free. Refreshments and snacks will be served.
