KOLOA — Rental applications are being accepted for Koa‘e Makana, an affordable workforce housing development in Koloa.
“As the need for housing continues to rise on Kauai, I encourage all applicants to take advantage of this opportunity to apply for affordable workforce housing,” said Mayor Derek S.K. Kawakami. “The first units are scheduled to be available in September, so now is the time to apply.”
Preference will be given to applicants in the following order:

Income limits and rents are subject to change.
All completed and qualified applications received by Friday, June 14 will be entered into a lottery to determine initial placement, which will be held on Monday, June 24.
Koa‘e Makana is being developed by Mark Development in partnership with the county.
