Washington Bennett IV
Washington Bennett IV passed away at Kauai Veteran Memorial Hospital on May 24, 2019, at the age of 70. He was born on Dec. 25, 1948, in Buffalo, NY. He was an electrical engineer for the Department of Defense at Hill AFB.
He is preceded in death by parents Washington Bennett III and Carrie Lucille Bennett; sister Anita Bennett Johnson; daughter Cori Tai.
He is survived by wife Nina Maria Anderson Bennett of Utah; sons, John Rasheed Bennett of Conway, S.C., Washington (Lindsey) Jalal Bennett V of Utah; 4 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services to be held at a later date.

William Badua
William Badua passed away at his residence in Lihue, on May 2, 2019, at the age of 91. He was born on Jan. 29, 1924 in Waimea.
He is preceded in death by wife Mabel Keike Badua; sons, Leonard Badua, Milton Badua; grandson Brian Badua.
He is survived by sons William Val (Debra) Badua of Hanapepe; daughters, Stella (Aaron) Ho’okano of Honolulu, Michelle San Nicolas of Yona, Guam; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; brother Wayne (Lilian) Badua of Waimea; sisters, Anita Edwards of Honolulu, Edna Bayot of Waimea; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will be holding private services at a later date.
