KAPAA – The Department of Water announces an immediate water service shutdown for customers located on Ihilani Place in Kapaa, for about six hours. Water services were turned off at 8:30 a.m. in order to conduct an investigation to determine the location of the underground leak.

DOW crews were able to locate the leak and are conducting emergency repairs to a service lateral in the area.
