Ted Dintersmith, author of “What School Could Be” and executive producer of “Most Likely to Succeed,” visited Waimea Canyon Middle School Friday.
During his talks, he discussed themes such as social equity, human potential and school-community partnerships. His goal is to create cultures of innovation and real learning in all schools, according to a press release.
A community forum was held 2 to 3 p.m., and he met earlier in the day with students and teachers.
