Registration forms and fees must be received by March 21 before shoreline fishing commences at 12:01 p.m., March 22 at the Kauai Youth Football second Jackpot Shoreline Fishing Tournament.
Brad Hiranaka of KYF announces the second tournament where fishing can take place along the Kauai shorelines. Weigh in will take place at Nawiliwili Park on March 24 starting at 10 a.m. and closing at noon. To be eligible, anglers must be in line for weighing at the noon cutoff.
An awards banquet will follow the noon cutoff while judges tally the results in 10 different categories.
Registration fee includes $30 for the Ulua category. All other classes, including omilu (5 pounds and over), papio (up to, and including 9.15 pounds), oio, moi, Others-5 pounds and over, Others-5 pounds and below, invasive (total weight class), Keiki 17 years and under, and a special category to be announced at the weigh-in have $20 per class fees.
