Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., and the GOP leadership speak with reporters during a news conference at the Capitol in Washington, Tuesday, March 5, 2019. McConnell says he finds rising anti-Israel sentiments “disturbing,” including by “some of the new members of the House of Representatives,” a reference to freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar’s comment last week that suggested Israel’s supporters are pushing lawmakers to pledge “allegiance” to the Jewish state. (AP Photo/J. Scott Applewhite)
