The holidays have come and gone, and people still came to visit and shop at the Kauai Community Market, a partnership between the Kauai County Farm Bureau and the Kauai Community College, on the Puhi campus.
There were the fried and barbecued Thai apple banana by the Kauai Adenium Growing that were introduced during last week’s market, and there was the fresh produce offered by GoFarm Hawaii, which is accepting applications for its upcoming programs that start in January.
The Kauai Community Market continues to be a gathering place and for getting fresh, locally produced fruits and vegetables as well as value-added products, opening on Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
