The Kauai North Shore Lions with Aloha Roofing Supply will hold their annual golf tournament for scholarships at the Makai Golf Course in Princeville Saturday, Jan 12.
This is a major fundraiser for the Kauai North Shore Lions, and proceeds are used for scholarships for North Shore students. Over $15,000 was raised last year
Registration opens at 6:45 a.m. and shotgun start is at 8:30 a.m. Entry fee is $120. This fee includes lunch after the tournament provided by the Lions at the golf course, under the tent. There will also be a live helicopter golf ball drop. Balls can be purchased on the website or at the registration and start at $10 per ball. Last year’s winner received $2,200.
Format is a four-person Florida scramble. Contests for hit the green, straightest drive and more, including a $25,000 hole-in-one contest. There will be other prizes, too.
