In the meantime, visitors settled on photos of the green birds returning to the royal palms to roost, and fireworks kept flowing out of the Erica Kleinfeld shop by the cartloads. Kudos to Josh Pajela and crew for busting their buns through the holidays with all of the tech support for the many live shows and light shows!
Kudos, too, to Elizabeth Freeman and her numerous (!) volunteers who celebrated another year of success at the Festival of Lights — the tourists loved Rudolph the red-nose rooster.
OK, time to switch to New Year’s mode and look for some mochi.
