Happy birthday to Julian and Nathan Remigio, who celebrated their special day (those birthday crowns are a sure giveaway!) cruising through the Thursday afternoon market at Kukui Grove Center featuring Kauai Made vendors!

The pair brought their entire ohana to enjoy Elvrine Chow (nope, Jennifer Ortal didn’t have any coconut malasada this time) and some of the holiday-themed keiki activities while waiting in line at the New Santa’s Room (do birthday and holidays get all rolled into one when you have a birthday during this time of the year?).
Kudos to Maegan Nii and the Wilcox Elementary School performing arts group (grandma Noreen had to tune all those ukulele!) on a great holiday presentation, and stereo took on a whole new meaning as Sarah Tochiki had her Kauai Community College musical ensemble (how does Mary Williamson sight-read after visiting the eye doctor?) at the food court area (even musician extraordinaire Jannik Evanoff was part of the group!). Now, let’s hope Padraic Gallagher was able to find something good after getting his order canceled.
Rocky Pascua of Ainofea had the answer to a less-than-stellar performance from the air conditioning, and there was a pretty good crowd at the Missing in Polynesia pop-up.
Happy, happy, merry, merry!
