LIHUE — The Kauai High School girls basketball team will be hosting a Winter Fun Camp for basketball players in grades 2 through 5, Dec. 27 and 28 at the Kauai High School Gym.
LIHUE — The Kauai High School girls basketball team will be hosting a Winter Fun Camp for basketball players in grades 2 through 5, Dec. 27 and 28 at the Kauai High School Gym.
The Lady Red Raiders and their coaching staff will lead campers through fundamental basketball drills with time set aside for live play where campers can apply their new skills.
The camp meets from 9 to 11:30 a.m. each day.
Campers are required to bring a bottled drink and a basketball. For players in second and third grade, the recommended ball size is 27.5, and for players in the fourth and fifth grades, the recommended ball size is 28.5.
Cost for the two days of camp is $40 per player, and includes a snack and drink for both days.
The clinic is being presented by the Kauai High School girls basketball team as a fundraiser for future team events.
