The Hawaii International Film Festival ended last week and here are the award winners: Korean actress now director Moon So-ri received the 2018 Halekulani Career Achievement Award. Moon was in town for her premiere of “The Running Actress.” The Best Made in Hawaii Feature Award winner is “Bethany Hamilton: Unstoppable” directed by Aaron Lieber. The Halekulani Maverick Award was given to American actress, writer and rapper Awkwafina, who was in “Ocean’s 8” and “Crazy Rich Asians.” Japanese actor Takumi Saito was also give the Halekulani Maverick Award for his feature film directorial debut Blank 13. Monday 7:45 p.m.: Soo Yeon comes to the realization that Yeo Reum is the reason for his arm device’s malfunction. Despite his realization, Soo Yeon and Yeo Reum get closer. Seeing the two together, makes Eun Seob’s heart ache with pain. Suspicious looking men come looking for In Woo. What is the story In Woo holds onto so desperately? Tuesday, 7:45p.m.: Yeo Reum gets severely injured in a sudden terror attack in the airport. Yeo Reum’s mother comes to the airport to take care of her. She asks Soo Yeon about his relationship with her daughter. Will Soo Yeon confess his true feelings for Yeo Reum?
‘Ms. Ma, Nemesis’
Episodes 25 and 26; 27 and 28 (Sun.)
Today, 6:45 p.m.: Feeling Ms. Ma was caught in danger after Ma Ji Won’s sudden death, Eun Ji stops Ms. Ma from contacting Jang Cheol Min. Woo Joon mysteriously disappears. Then, an unidentified corpse appears in from of the police station. Today, 7:45 p.m.: Tae Gyu is certain that there is a relationship between Prosecutor Yang and Jang Cheol Min. He puts puzzle pieces together while solving the old case. Eun Ji seeks out her sister’s kidnapper. Tae Gyu receives a death threat.
‘Marriage Contract’
Episode 5 (Fri.); Episode 6 (Sat.)
Friday, 7:45 p.m: Eun-sung asks Ji-hoon if he loves her mom and tells him not to leave them, like her father once did. As Eun-sung finds a place in Ji-hoon’s heart, he continues to change. Na-yoon asks to start over with Ji-hoon. Ji-hoon introduces Hye-soo to Na-yoon. Saturday, 7:45 p.m.: Sung-guk runs into Hye-soo at the hospital and gets suspicious about her. Ji-hoon introduces Hye-soo as his girlfriend. Sung-guk asks Hye-soo what she found charming about Ji-hoon. She replies that he’s a warm person, making Sung-guk smile. Eun-sung tells the kids who bully her at school, that Ji-hoon is her dad.
‘Heart Surgeons’
Episodes 25 and 26 (Wed.); 27 and 28 (Thur.)
Wednesday, 7:45 p.m.: Director Han Min Sik’s aide dies on the surgery table. Soo Yeon and Tae Soo question Seok Han’s actions. A surgery is set for the presidential candidate when an emergency surgery case is in need for the facility. Tae Soo and Seok Han fight for the surgery room. Thursday 7:45 p.m: What’s comes first, a patient’s life or my future? With the surgical team’s effort, an urgent surgery ends in success. Chief Yoon Hyun Il’s orders Seok Han to get the presidential candidate’s heart transplant ready. The Chief butt heads with the surgeons over his managerial style that strives only for profit.
