The craft fair circuit (Phyllis Andrade — she’s the Rancher’s Daughter’s mom! — already did the Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital event) is in full swing with less than two weeks before Thanksgiving.

Sumiko (that’s Alexis Amulacion’s middle name, too!) is still trying to figure out how to get his huge (!) kettle over the mountain. Sumiko’s, who regularly appears at the Friday Night Art walk in Hanapepe, has added a lot of new items to his staple hand-popped kettle popcorn. Cosme Amulacion said Cherie was going to try for Butter Mochi, but was just too tired.
Caleb Saiki-Fabro (Valerie Saiki said they’ve got a youth vaping workshop coming up Thursday at the Kauai Community College Fine Arts Auditorium) ran into his substitute teacher Vicky Ramos (she’s going to be at the Kauai Handworks fair on Nov. 24 at the Wilcox School cafeteria along with Kelly and Deborah Morris of Land &Ocean Art) at the St. Michael’s and All Angels craft fair (everyone was waiting on the laulau plates) where the Mokihana Club had a lot of baked goods available to raise funds for their music scholarships.
And don’t worry because the All Saints Episcopal Church and Preschool has theirs coming up on Dec. 3 at the All Saints Gym in Kapaa.
