Tammy Leilani Carlos, 47 years old, of Eleele, Kauai, passed away on Oct. 6, 2018, at her home in Eleele, Kauai. She was born on June 9, 1971, in Lihue, Kauai.
She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kaizley Kahalekomo-Schmidt.
She is survived by her companion, Chico Davis Santiago of Lihue; son, Abraham “Abe” (Traci Ramos) Carlos-Kahalekomo of Lihue; daughters, Brandee “Ubi” (Chris) Coughlin of Waimea, Chelise “Kawai” (Kai Schmidt) Carlos-Kahalekomo of Waimea, Alyssa “Onei” (Jose Villarin, Jr.) Carlos-Kahalekomo of Lihue, Kaulana “Bebeh” (John H. Rosario) Carlos-Kahalekomo of Koloa; grandchildren, Keola, Kaiulani, Kairie, Kailye, Hailama, Kyren, Kylea, Kananimelea, Noa, Alilea and Paleku; parents, Maria Emily Bamba and William Samuel Carlos Sr.; brothers, William Samuel (Aldine) Carlos, Jr. of Koloa, Duncan Carineo of Oahu; sisters, Tiana (Jaime) Gonzales-Sanchez of Lihue, Lee Ann “Annie” (Gordon) Olores of Kalaheo, Letitia “Tisha” (Eddie) Rapozo of Kalaheo, Vanessa Carlos of Lihue, Kimberly “Kimmie” (Earl) Gordon of Oahu, Brittney Carineo of Lihue; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018, at Kekaha Gardens Pavilion with visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. and services to follow at 11 a.m. Potluck to follow. Family suggests casual attire.

Fortunata ‘Grandma Flossie’ ‘Atang’ Salvador Cabamongan
Fortunata “Grandma Flossie” “Atang” Salvador Cabamongan, 97, of Pahoa, HI, died Nov. 2, 2018 at the Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center in Hilo. She was born in Lawai, Kauai and was a retired flower packer with Anthuriums of Hawaii.
She is survived by her daughters, Rosita Barker of Las Vegas, Erlinita “Erla” Pauole of Honolulu, Dolores “Dee” (Frank, Jr.) Degele of Pahoa and Claire (Lance) Tanaka of Hilo; sister, Flora Espiritu of Lihue; 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call 4 to 6 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018 at the Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 6 p.m. memorial service. Family suggests casual attire.

Patrick Steven Brustowicz, 57, of Kapaa, Kauai, passed away on Nov. 4, 2018, at his home. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on Nov. 10, 1960. He was a construction worker and a handy-man.
Preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jane Key.
Patrick is survived by his wife, Lisa Brustowicz; sons, Austin Rita-Kaui, Matthew Rita, Kaimana Brustowicz and Makana Brustowicz; daughters, Surina Brustowicz and Megan Brustowicz; 3 grandsons; numerous family and friends

Sinforoso Macadangdang Antonio
Sinforoso Macadangdang Antonio, passed away on Nov. 2, 2018, at Mahelona Hospital. He was born on May 23, 1933, in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. He retired at Kauai Resort in kitchen utilities.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Crispolo and Saturnina Antonio; brother, Manuel; and sister, Aurora. He was survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Consolacion (Tangonan) Antonio; daughter, Agnes; son, Alvin; brother, Andres in the Philippines, and many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be from 8 to 9:45 a.m. and Mass will follow at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, at Immaculate Conception Church in Lihue. Burial to follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.

Collette Atherley Althouse
The lovely Collette Atherley Althouse, of Wailua, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, Nov. 5, 2018. Born in Kanab, Utah, on July 25, 1962, Ms. Althouse had been a resident of Kauai over 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Norman Atherley, her brother-in-law, Ben Batty; her nephew, Nathan Batty; Atherley grandparents and Edwards grandparents.
Collette is survived by her 2 children, Amanda Althouse and Kameron Althouse; her mother, Velma Atherley; her fiancé, Roger Jacobs; her brother, Dirk (Olga) Atherley; her sister, Nannette Batty and family; her uncles, Terry (Suzanne) Edwards and Steve (Kay) Edwards; and her group of soul sisters who loved her deeply.
Her celebration of life will be held Sunday, Nov. 11 at 1 p.m. at Lydgate Park on the Kamalani bridge side. Potluck and bring a good story or memory about Collette.

Masanori Emoto, 98 years old, of Hanapepe, Kauai, passed away on Nov. 8, 2018, in Waimea, Kauai. Born on Aug. 29, 1920, in Kekaha, Kauai, he was a retired shop superintendent with Kekaha Sugar Plantation.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Matahei and Etsu Emoto; wife, Shizuko Emoto; sister, Tokie Miyake and brother, Mike Emoto.
He is survived by his son, Jeffrey (Gail) Emoto of Hanapepe; daughter, Donna (James) Fuji of Eleele; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Yukiko Van Landingham of Florida; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Celebration of life will be held on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018, at Garden Island Mortuary chapel in Lawai from 2 p.m. with services at 3 p.m. Family suggests casual attire.
