LIHUE — Subaru Hawaii recently launched its “Share the Love” campaign by announcing that it will be increasing its donation from $30,000 to $50,000.
The campaign, which runs from Nov. 1 through Dec. 31, will benefit six nonprofit organizations across Hawaii including new Love Partner, Alzheimer’s Association, Aloha Chapter.
For every new Subaru vehicle purchased in Hawaii between Nov. 1 through Dec. 31, Subaru Hawaii will donate $250, up to $50,000. The funds will be divided evenly among the six nonprofits, including the Kauai Humane Society.
“These nonprofit organizations are making a tremendous, positive impact in our communities,” said Glenn Inouye, senior vice president, Subaru Hawaii and Servco Pacific Inc.
The other nonprofits are Hawaii Island Humane Society, Maui Humane Society, Hawaiian Humane Society, Alzheimer’s Association, Aloha Chapter, and Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii.
Over the past seven years of the “Share the Love” campaign, Subaru Hawaii has donated $195,000.
Subaru Hawaii is asking the public to post their stories to social media and “share the love” by educating others about these deserving nonprofits. The public can use the hashtag, #ShareTheLove808 if they have been impacted by a partner organization.
