Helen Tamie Sasaki
Helen Tamie Sasaki, 87, of Lihue, died in Honolulu on Oct. 11, 2018. She was born in Wahiawa, Kauai. She is survived by husband Henry, sons Sterling, Ricky and Randall, brothers Hideichi “Peter” and Tatsuji “Ta” Tsuha, sister Ethel Yoshimura, and two grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17, at Lihue Hongwanji Mission, 3-3530 Kuhio Highway.
The family suggests casual attire.
Shane Nevada Kaniela Duncan
Shane Nevada Kaniela Duncan, 39, of Kapaa, passed away on Oct. 20, 2018. He was born on Oahu on June 18, 1979, and was self-employed.
He was preceded in death by father Arthur Duncan Sr.
He is survived by children Catelyn Duncan Spencer, Ka‘eo Duncan-Mundon, Kaila Duncan and Wailea Valvieja-Duncan, Anela Duncan, mother Suzanne Duncan, brother Arthur (Roberta) Duncan Jr., sister Marisa (Shane) Lee, and numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 10, with services at 2 p.m. at Wailua Homesteads Park.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
