Delphine ‘Nina’ Dacay
Delphine “Nina” Dacay, 88, of Puhi, passed away at home on Oct. 6, 2018. She was born in Waimea, Kauai on Dec. 24, 1929, and retired as a housekeeping inspector.
Preceded in death by her husband, Cecilio Dacay and son, Mansfield Dacay.
Delphine is survived by three children, Aurora (Bill) Fritz, Wanda (Glyn) Higashi, Wadsworth (Lynette) Dacay; daughter-in-law, Donna Dacay; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, at Immaculate Conception Church with viewing from 8 to 9:30 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. Cremation will follow.

Tammy Leilani Carlos, 47 years old, of Eleele, Kauai, passed away on Oct. 6, 2018, at her home in Eleele, Kauai. She was born on June 9, 1971, in Lihue, Kauai.
She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kaizley Kahalekomo-Schmidt.
She is survived by her companion, Chico Davis Santiago of Lihue; son, Abraham “Abe” (Traci Ramos) Carlos-Kahalekomo of Lihue; daughters, Brandee “Ubi” (Chris) Coughlin of Waimea, Chelise “Kawai” (Kai Schmidt) Carlos-Kahalekomo of Waimea, Alyssa “Onei” (Jose Villarin, Jr.) Carlos-Kahalekomo of Lihue, Kaulana “Bebeh” (John H. Jerry Joseph Correa, Sr.
Jerry Joseph Correa, Sr., 81 Years old, of Kalaheo, Kauai, passed away on Oct. 17, 2018, at Garden Isle Healthcare. Born on Oct. 27, 1936, in Koloa, Kauai, Jerry was the owner of Kauai Termite Fumigation, Inc. also served in the Army National Guard.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Margaret Correa; brothers, Thomas, Harold, Richard and John Correa.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine Morris Correa of Kalaheo; sons, Jerry (Mari-Jo) Correa, Jr. of Oahu, Kirk (Michelle) Correa of Hanapepe; daughter, Cynthia (Chico) Edralin of Kalaheo; grandchildren, Shantel (Kahale) Kidder, Lance (Rhonda) Edralin, Joseph Correa, Jesse Correa, Dallas Correa, Shannin Correa, Jacob Correa, Kari Correa; great-grandchildren, Eli, Shalei, Kaison, Lyla, Levi, Xyris; sister, Rose Marie Lopez of Kalaheo; numerous aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Faith Kawehi Holokahi-Nizo, 58 years old, of Kekaha, Kauai, passed away on Oct. 17, 2018, at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital. Born on Sept. 29, 1960, in Honolulu, Hawaii. Faith was a domestic engineer.
She is preceded in death by her father, Francis N. Holokahi, Sr.
She is survived by her husband, William “Willie” Apela Nizo, Sr. of Kekaha; son, William Keolamau “Mau (Amanda) Nizo, Jr. of Kekaha; daughter, Liana Keikilani Nizo of Kekaha; hanai-daughter, Kahelelani Cruz of Honolulu; grandchildren, Keikui’iokalani Nizo of Kekaha, Ku’uleinaniokamana’o’i’oamekeolamauloa Nizo of Kekaha; great-grandchild, Kailoa Kahale Cruz of Honolulu; mother, Janice K. Holokahi of Makaha; brothers, Francis N. Ernest Mindoro
Ernest Mindoro, Sr., 93 years old of Lihue, Kauai, passed away on Sept. 28, 2018, at Garden Isle Healthcare. Born on March 9, 1925, in Waipahu, Hawaii, he was a retired long shoreman and also he served in the U.S. Army.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lope Mindoro and Faustina Motia; wife, Bebincia Mindoro.
He is survived by his sons, Ernest Mindoro, Jr. of Oahu, Alan (Candy) Mindoro of Lihue, Clifford (Leilani) Mindoro of Kapaa, Michael (Cindy) Mindoro of Hanamaulu; daughters, Crystal (John) Song of Anahola, Lorelie Mindoro of Oahu, Cecilia (Rudy) Verdugo of Calif.; 21 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
