Carole Sakiko Okamoto
Carole Sakiko Okamoto, 86, passed away on Sept. 9, 2018. She was born on March 21, 1932.
She is survived by son Chad (Daphne) Okamoto,grandson Landon Okamoto, daughter Lynn (Rob) Meadows, granddaughter Mari Campbell, and brothers Edward (June) Shota and Stanley (Janet) Shota.
She was preceded in death by husband Masamitsu Okamoto.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10 at Lihue Christian Church, 2943 Kress Street, with services to begin at 10:30 a.m.

Ernest Mindoro Sr.
Ernest Mindoro Sr. 93, of Lihue, passed away on Sept. 28, 2018, at Garden Isle Healthcare.
Born on March 9, 1925 in Waipahu, Oahu, he was a retired long shoreman, and also served in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by parents Lope Mindoro and Faustina Motia, and wife Bebincia Mindoro.
He is survived by sons Ernest Mindoro Jr. of Oahu, Alan (Candy) Mindoro of Lihue, Clifford (Leilani) Mindoro of Kapaa and Michael (Cindy) Mindoro of Hanamaulu, daughters Crystal (John) Song of Anahola, Lorelie Mindoro of Oahu and Cecilia (Rudy) Verdugo of California, 21) grandchildren, 43) great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 10, at 10 a.m. at Kauai Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe.
The family suggests casual attire.

Jerry Joseph Correa Sr.
Jerry Joseph Correa Sr., 81, of Kalaheo, passed away on Oct. 17, 2018, at Garden Isle Healthcare.
Born on Oct. 27, 1936 in Koloa, he was the owner of Kauai Termite Fumigation Inc. and also served in the Army National Guard.
He was preceded in death by parents Joseph and Margaret Correa, and brothers Thomas, Harold, Richard and John Correa.
He is survived by wife Maxine Morris Correa of Kalaheo, sons Jerry (Mari-Jo) Correa, Jr. of Oahu and Kirk (Michelle) Correa of Hanapepe, daughter Cynthia (Chico) Edralin of Kalaheo, eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, sister Rose Marie Lopez of Kalaheo, and numerous aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, Nov. 9, at Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., where Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Inurnment will be held at a later date.

Isabella Coyaso, 84, of Kalaheo, passed away on Oct. 9, 2018, at her home in Kalaheo.
Born on July 7, 1934 in Makaweli, she was a homemaker and babysitter to many.
She was preceded in death by husband Marcelino “Kucho” Coyaso, father Frank Lopez, mother Jobina “Hoba” Lopez, mother Charlotte Abreu, son Damien Coyaso, son-in-law Bruce Kanoho and grandson Austin Barretto.
She is survived by sons Russell (Valerie) Coyaso of Kalaheo, Alfred (Colleen) Coyaso of Lawai and Gerry (Cheryl) Coyaso of Kalaheo, daughter Annamarie (Howard) Tolbe of Eleele, and grandchildren Shandon Coyaso, Bruce (Wailana) Kanoho Jr., Crystal (Koty) Kaiakapu, Ashley (Tyson) Relacion, Brandon Kanoho, Aaron (Sheena) Coyaso, Chelsie (Howie) Kanoho, Shantel Coyaso, Adam (Christine) Coyaso, Rachel (Camden) Coyaso, Hope Coyaso and Chace Coyaso, 15 great-grandchildren, brother Jerry Lopez, sister Virginia Lopez, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, Oct. 26, at Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo from 9 to 10:15 a.m., where Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Holy Cross Church Cemetery. Refreshments will follow at the church hall.

Tammy Leilani Carlos, 47, of Eleele, passed away on Oct. 6, 2018, at her home in Eleele.
She was born on June 9, 1971, in Lihue.
She was preceded in death by granddaughter Kailey Kahalekomo-Schmidt.
She is survived by companion Chico Davis Santiago of Lihue, son Abraham “Abe” (Traci Ramos) Carlos-Kahalekomo of Lihue, daughters Brandee “Ubi” (Chris) Coughlin of Waimea, Chelise “Kawai” (Kai Schmidt) Carlos-Kahalekomo of Waimea, Alyssa “Onei” (Jose Villarin, Jr.) Carlos-Kahalekomo of Lihue and Kaulana “Bebeh” (John H. James Christopher Madison, 77, of Kapaa, suddenly passed away at home on Oct. 22, 2018. He was born in Harrisburg, Penn., on May 2, 1941, and retired as a carpenter.
He is survived by wife Joy Jobson, daughters Wendy (Gus) Gatsios and Donna (Bob) Madison Wright, sons Jimmy Madison, David Tjarks, Paul (Yvette) Tjarks and Mark (Angela) Tjarks, 19 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, brother Norman (Gayle) Madison, sister Janet (Bill) Hill, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 3, at his home in Kapaa, with visitation from 3 to 6 p.m.

Helen Armstrong, 98, of Kapaa, passed away on Oct. 1, 2018, at Hale Kupuna Heritage Home in Omao.
She was born on Aug. 9, 1920, in Logan, Utah, and was a retired registered nurse in Pomona, Calif.
She was preceded in death by husband Charles Armstrong.
She is survived by son Robert Armstrong of Thailand, daughter Kris (Myles) Armstrong-Shiira of Kapaa, two grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Natsuko Furusho, 90, of Lawai, passed away on Oct. 10, 2018, at Wilcox Medical Center.
She was born on June 18, 1928, in Waiakea, Hawaii.
She is survived by husband Miyoji Furusho, sons: Craig (Lindy) Furusho and Russell (Lani) Furusho, daughters Vivian (Alan) Nozaki and Carol (Rick) Down, sister Akiko Yamashita, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
