WAIMEA — The Waimea pool will be closed for renovations starting Thursday, Nov. 1.
“These long-awaited renovations are necessary so all pool users can enjoy an upgraded and improved facility,” said Director of Parks and Recreation Lenny Rapozo.
Estimated to last for eight months, the scope of the project includes a restoration to the pool deck, plumbing and electrical improvements, as well accessibility upgrades in line with the American with Disabilities Act.
Pacific Blue Construction LLC is the general contractor, while Palms Hawai‘i Architecture serves as the project’s architect.
