KOLOA — The 16th annual Old Koloa Sugar Mill Run is scheduled for Nov. 10 at Anne Knudsen Park in Koloa, hosted by the Rotary Club of Kauai. The event includes a half marathon, 10K and 5K runs and a non-competitive 5K walk.
KOLOA — The 16th annual Old Koloa Sugar Mill Run is scheduled for Nov. 10 at Anne Knudsen Park in Koloa, hosted by the Rotary Club of Kauai. The event includes a half marathon, 10K and 5K runs and a non-competitive 5K walk.
The half marathon will start at 7 a.m. The 5K run and walk will begin 7:15 a.m., and the 10K run will begin 7:30 a.m. Also included is a breakfast and a microfiber T-shirt.
Participants can register online at www.active.com (search for Old Koloa Sugar Mill Run). Registration fee is $40 for the half marathon and $30 for the 10K and 5Ks through Oct. 31. Early registration is encouraged to ensure T-shirt size availability.
Late registration runs runs Nov. 1-8. Late entrants for the 10K and 5Ks will be charged $35.
Race packet pickup is scheduled on Nov. 9 between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. at Kukui Grove Shopping Center in Lihue at the exhibit area behind Starbucks. In-person late registration will be available, and $40 will be charged for all runs.
There will not be race day registrations.
Proceed will go toward local scholarships for the University of Hawaii located at Kauai Community College and the Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA).
For family, friends and visitors, breakfast will be $10.
