Mahalo for your article in The Garden Island, Wednesday, Oct. 10. I have been getting calls and requests for membership. I would like to take this means to forward our agenda for the next few months.
On Oct. 24, members will man the AARP vendor table at the Bully Free Kauai from Keiki to Kupuna Symposium at Kauai Memorial Convention Hall.
Nov. 3, AARP members will participate in the Veterans Day Parade in Kapaa. The Stewart Burley family will also participate with the AARP members who are dedicating this parade to Stu. State AARP President Gerry Silva will also be participating.
AARP team members also do the driver safety classes and the tax aide program.
The following are future meeting dates: Changed to Tuesdays, Nov. 20 and Dec. 18, at the Piikoi Conference Room B from 11:20-1:30 pm potluck meetings.
