LIHUE — The annual Senior Food and Craft Fair opens at 9 a.m. Saturday at Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall. It includes handmade crafts, gifts and unique food items prepared by the island’s senior center kupuna.
LIHUE — The annual Senior Food and Craft Fair opens at 9 a.m. Saturday at Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall. It includes handmade crafts, gifts and unique food items prepared by the island’s senior center kupuna.
Silent-auction items include a $1,000 gift certificate from Honsador. Bidding starts at $300 for that item. Other items include a Kamoa ukulele valued at $369, a new surfboard contributed by a private citizen valued at $200, and more.
Silent-auction bidding starts at 8 a.m. and closes at noon.
Entertainment is also provided by the senior centers participants, including the Kalaheo Ukulele Band, the Lihue Senior Ukulele Band, and more.
