LIHUE — The public is invited to join Community Coalition Kauai on Monday for a mock County Council meeting as a way to get to know what the County Council candidates think about growth management and future land use for Kauai. The event starts at 6 p.m. at the Kauai War Memorial Convention Center.
LIHUE — The public is invited to join Community Coalition Kauai on Monday for a mock County Council meeting as a way to get to know what the County Council candidates think about growth management and future land use for Kauai. The event starts at 6 p.m. at the Kauai War Memorial Convention Center.
Expert panelists will open the evening with short presentations. The candidates will then deliberate and work toward a solution as they would in a realistic situation as councilmembers.
This is the first of two forums. The second forum will focus on climate change and will be held on Oct. 18 at the Anaina Hou Community Park Porter Pavilion at 6 p.m.
They’re adults. Do whatever you want. Just not make speeches. Some need work. Like the big guy, needs a lot of work.
Why are the county council representing only dumb and low income residents? Under $9,500 dollars and 1040 EZ. What about the owner of Kukui Grove? Is he paying any taxes? Collect from the county councilmen. (Spray)
