Adam Roversi would be excellent on council
Adam Roversi would be excellent on council
I am writing to support Adam Roversi for County Council because he is exceptionally well-qualified.
I met Adam several years ago at Hanalei Canoe Club where he continues to coach our men’s team. I have witnessed his character and commitment. Our entire club has benefited from his leadership well beyond coaching.
Adam moved to Kauai 30 years ago at 18 to help his uncle and aunt build their house and start an organic farm in Kilauea. Eventually he became a general contractor, cabinetmaker and custom furniture builder.
Ten years ago, while trying to help a Wainiha family with a water flow dispute, Adam became interested in the complex issues of water and land use. In 2009 he enrolled at the University of Hawaii school of law.
Adam graduated in 2012 with his law degree plus two specialty certificates in Native Hawaiian law and environmental law. He remained on Oahu two more years to clerk for both state and federal judges, including the chief justice of the Hawaii Supreme Court.
Adam returned to Kauai in 2014. He has served as a deputy county attorney these past four years and gained an in-depth knowledge of county government operations. Based on his detailed knowledge and diverse experience in both the private and government sectors, he would make an excellent addition to our County Council, perhaps now more than ever.
Where does he stand on affordable housing, our roads, manageable tourism and the other issues we face? You can see for yourself at electadamroversi.org and facebook. Mahalo.
Mike Parry, Princeville
I agree 100% with Mr. Parry’s assessment of Mr. Roversi’s qualifications for Council.
Adam is not a loud-mouthed politician. He is a thoughtful, earnest, fair-minded guy who will not play favorites.
Nothing would give me more pleasure than to see him replace Ross Kagawa on the Council, who has proved himself publicly bigoted, racist, and ignorant.
If you care about Kauai, get out and vote and consider asking friends and family to support Adam Roversi for Council.
Aloha Kakou,
With his background, education, training, and experience, and 30 years of his life living on Kaua’i and Hawaii and forming him into a man, I’m going to vote for:
ADAM ROVERSI FOR Kaua’i County Council
Mahalo,
Charles
