This is the final bon dance on the Kauai Buddhist Council calendar for 2018, but Josie Pablo said people are invited to more bon dance fun and food (check out the Arnold Leong flying saucers!), Aug. 10 when the Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital hosts its bon dance in the hospital’s courtyard.

Ron Wood said he’s emceeing the Kukui Grove Kupuna Bingo tonight that benefits Kumu’s Cupboard (teachers and educators: you need to go visit their new location next to the Great Harvest Bread Company!) … go early so you can fill your table with Bingo cards.
Logan Barr of Oregon said he is not only a cousin to Philip Booyer — he is a customer of Eden Coffee that has been dispensing coffee, smoothies, and pasteries for about a month since Philip fixed up an old food truck trailer from scratch.
Philip (he never knew anyone named “Eden” until he opened his food truck!) is getting excited about the Parking Lot Pa‘ina coming up Sunday when doors to VIP ticket holders open at 4 p.m. at the Kauai Veterans Center parking lot…OK, time to go visit Dr. Addison Bulosan (Dr. Kelly Robb is getting ready for the Alzheimer’s Walk!) and check out the fundraiser for the Hawaii Foodbank, Kauai Branch, and the Kauai Veterans Museum!
