Opioids on LBA agenda
LIHUE — Janet Berreman, Kauai District Health Officer, Hawaii Department of Health, will be one of the speakers at the Lihue Business Association meeting on Thursday. The program will focus on opioids and related substance abuse disorders, which “are claiming lives and causing heartache in our community. Join us as we explore the extent of the crisis on Kauai and efforts underway to stem the tide of these addictions,” according to a press release.
