HONOLULU — Kauai youth golfers Deven Kimoto and Taryn Taguma competed in the All Ages Junior Tour Series-Oahu tournament, hosted by Hawaii State Junior Golf Association.
The tournament ended Wednesday at the Honolulu Country Club. Fifty-five junior golfers from around the state competed in various divisions.
Kimoto, of Lihue, played in the boys 15-18 flight and placed eighth out of 10, shooting a 20-over-par 166 (81-85).
Noah Koshi, of Pearl City, on the flight with a result of 1-over par 147 (71-76). Par for the group was 73 and approximate yardage was 6,550 yards.
Taguma, of Lihue, competed in the girls 15-18 flight and finished last out of 13, shooting a 30-over-par 176 (82-84).
Honolulu’s Tagiralani Luafalealo was first after shooting a 4-over-par 150 (76-74). Par was 73 and approximate yardage was 6,050 for the group.
