David Pack, front man for the smooth rock band Ambrosia, will be joining with local artist and Na Hoku Hanohano winner Illtalian as well as other guests live this Sunday in concert in support of Bandwagon, which is well known for providing music education for the youth of Kauai.
Pack, Ambrosia’s lead singer and songwriter, penned the No. 1 hits “How Much I Feel” and “The Biggest Part of Me,” which sped to the top of the charts during the late ‘70s and early ‘80s.
As a frequent visitor to Kauai, Pack discovered the work that Bandwagon was doing among local young people and offered his talent in support.
Illtalian (real name: Thomas Iannucci) is an award-winning rapper from Kauai. Most recently, Illtalian won the 2018 Na Hoku Hanohano Award for Best Hip Hop Album of the Year, for his album, “Makana.”
Also on the bill is Pierce Bivens and the Search, a band made up of Bandwagon alumni.
The concert is slated for Sunday at the south campus of Kauai Christian Fellowship, 2731 Ala Kinoiki, Koloa. Doors open at 6 p.m.
The event is free but the hat will be passed and donations are encouraged.
