Dante Julian Samiano
Dante Julian Samiano, 78 years old of Lihue, Kauai, passed away on May 28, 2018, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. Born on June 22, 1939, in Bangui, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, Dante served in the U.S. Army.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Presenticion P. Samiano; father, Jose Samiano; mother, Salud Julian; granddaughter, Krystle Felten.
He is survived by her son, Michael (Atsumi) Samiano of California; daughter, Laurie Samiano of California; grandchildren, Suzanna Gunn, Victoria England, Gianna Zurita, Kazumi Samiano, Yosuke Samiano, Kyle Samiano; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jose (Virginia) Samiano of Nevada, Marcial (Emily) Samiano of Oahu, Rudy (Kathy) Samiano of Kauai, Melvin (Connie) Samiano of California; sisters, Carmen (Richard) Ubasa of Oahu, Evelyn (Siling) Taroc of Kauai; hanai-sister, Celia Ramirez of Oahu and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday July 3, 2018, at Immaculate Conception Church from 9: to 9:45 a.m. where Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Inurnment will be held at Mililani Memorial Park Cemetery on a later date.
Family request casual attire and that flowers be omitted.

Victorino Battad Coma, 93 years old of Lihue, Kauai, passed away on June 12, 2018, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. Born Dec. 24, 1924, in the Philippines, he was a retired maintenance worker.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Cleto and Pilar B. Coma; son, Romie U. Coma; daughter, Josie Coma.
He is survived by his wife, Corazon Coma of Lihue; sons, Nolie (Helen) Coma of Kaumakani, Melari (Carol) Coma of Kalaheo, Texmie (Grace) Coma of Lihue, Bengie (Agnes) Coma of Eleele; daughters, Leilanie (Edgar) Valenciano of Hanapepe, Emie (Larry) Tanimoto of Lihue and Bettie (Damien Tolentino) Coma of Mililani; daughter-in-law, Estrelita Coma of California; grandchildren, Mark Allan Coma, Darwin Coma, Geraldine Coma, Hazel Coma, Ritchele Coma, Kristen Coma, AJay Coma, RJ Coma, Lindon Valenciano, Lexine Valenciano, Elson Tanimoto, Elshae Tanimoto, Bethany Coma, Abiegail Coma; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rosalina Dela Rosa of Philippines, Paz Florida Valenciano of Lawai; numerous nieces and nephews.

Randolph ‘Randy’ David Keliikuli
Randolph “Randy” David Keliikuli, passed away on May 27, 2018, at his home in Kalaheo. He was born in Honolulu, on Oct. 27, 1937.
He is survived by his wife, Yolanda; son, Steven (Joanna) of Kapaa; daughter, Krissy (Rocky) Sales of Honolulu; 8 grandchildren; sister, Lorraine (John) Hoapili of Waimanalo, Oahu; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held at Holy Cross Church, in Kalaheo, on Saturday, July 7, 2018. Viewing begins at 8:30 to 10 a.m. A special tribute and eulogy will be held from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Mass will follow at 11 a.m.
Burial will be at the Kauai Veterans Cemetery, in Hanapepe. The Air Force Honor Guard will do the military honors. Luncheon will follow at the cemetery pavilion.
Ann Nobue Matsuoka
Ann Nobue Matsuoka, 95 years old, passed away on May 6, 2018, in Lihue, Kauai. Born on June 23, 1922, in Eleele, Kauai, Ann was a seamstress.
She is survived by her son, Tom (Cynthia) Matsuoka of Lihue; daughter, May Ann (Roy) Takekawa of California; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services were held.

Lloyd ‘Porky’ Silva
Lloyd “Porky” Silva, 62 years old, of Kekaha, Kauai, passed away on May16, 2018, at his home. Born on Oct. 18, 1955, in Lihue, Kauai, Lloyd was a cane carrier with Kekaha sugar.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Mildred Silva; sister, Geraldine Silva.
He is survived by his brother; Ernest (Brenda) Silva, Jr. of Kekaha; sisters, Rosalie (Moki) Nitta of Kekaha, Jasmine Silva of Waipahu; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Celebration of life will be on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Waimea Neighborhood center from 9 to 10:15 a.m. where prayer services will be at 10:30 a.m. Family request casual attire.

Gregorio ‘Greg’ Rosario Stoll
Gregorio “Greg” Rosario Stoll, 64 years old of Kapaa, Kauai, passed away on May 30, 2018, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. Born on March 9, 1954, on the Island of Pohnpei, Micronesia, he was a retired culinary trained chef/owner of G’s Fish Co., Inc. and co-owner of U’ilani Farms in Kealia.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mikelina Stoll; father, Welerino Rosario; grandparents, Isidoro and Lucia Stoll.
He is survived by his wife, Sonya Barretto Stoll; daughters, Andie (Mario) Stoll-Tolentino of Hanamaulu, Sarah Ewer of Wisconsin, Sheena (Del) Tuazon of Oahu, Sade (Josh) Thomas of Australia, Shawn Nakai Villatora of Omao; sons, Aaron Villatora of Oregon, Anson Pa’a Villatora of Kapahi; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at Kealia Farms Market on Thursday, June 28, 2018, from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Brothwick/Kauai Mortuary chapel in Koloa, from 9 a.m. and services will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Following Saturday’s services we will be serving lunch at Peter Rayno Park pavilion in Hanamaulu. His final resting place will be back in Pohnpei, Micronesia.

Vicente Carnate Padre, 82 years old, of Kilauea, Kauai, passed away on May 31, 2018, at his home in Kilauea. Born on Nov. 17, 1935, in the Philippines, he was a retired as a groundskeeper for Hanalei Bay Resort.
He is survived by his sons, Dante (Aida) Padre of Kilauea, Roy (Espie) Padre of Kilauea; daughters, Imelda (Rey) Martinez of Kapaa, Leticia (Edison) Nacapuy of Kapaa, Marilyn (Rommel) Aguinaldo of Kilauea, Rene (Jonah) Fleming of Kilauea; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Pedro Padre of Philippines, Edilberto (Aniceta) Padre of Philippines; sister, Mercedes (Apolinario) Padre of Philippines; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Juliette “Tida” Kainoalani Roberts, 55 years old, of Anahola, Kauai, passed away on June 12, 2018, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. She was born on Aug. 20, 1962, in Kilauea, Kauai.
She is preceded in death by her father, John “Chonney” Kuehu, Sr.; brothers, Lance Kuehu, James Kuehu, Benjamin Paik Breitenbach; her husband and father of her children, Stephen Roberts.
She is survived by her two sons, Stephen Joshua K. Roberts of Puhi Westin K. (Amairani) Roberts of Fort Wainwright, Alaska; mother, Juliette “Nani Paik” Kuehu of Anahola; brothers, John (Bootsie) Kuehu, Jr. of Anahola, Derek “Lei” (Mona) Kuehu of Kapaa, Terrill “Lani Boy” Kuehu of Anahola, Garret “Rocky” (Dede) Kuehu of Oahu, Kevyn (Wendy) Paik of Wanini, Kauai; sisters, Lorren “Baby” (Tadash) Kuehu of Wailua, Blaze-Anne (Bert) Kaauwai of Anahola; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jean Marie Witting Spencer
Jean Marie Witting Spencer passed away on June 17, 2018, at Hale Kupuna Heritage Home. She was born on July 19, 1930, in Elkhart, Indiana, to David and Effie Witting.
When she was 8 years old her family moved to Finlay City , Michigan where she lived until she went to Goshen College and received her B.S. in Elementary Education and spent the next 15 years as an Educator. On June 26, 1955, she married Charles Spencer. They had two children, Rebecca Hortallero of Lihue and Joel and 3 grandchildren Kyle, Chenoa and Rachel.
She is survived by her sister, Minn (Delbert) Roth of Denver; brother-in-law, James of Grosse Pointe, Michigan; sister-in-law, Mary of South Carolina; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on July 14, 2018, at Lihue Missionary Church, with visitation from 10:30 to 10:45 a.m and Services at 11 a.m.

Darrell Brian Pundyke, 60, of Hanamaulu, passed away at home, on June 20, 2018. He was born in Lihue, Kauai, on Feb. 10, 1958, and was the proprietor of Kauai Mobile Steam Cleaning and DP Nursery.
Preceded in death by his brother, John Pundyke.
Darrell is survived by his wife, Penlois “Penny” Pundyke; children, Darrell (Delilah) Pundyke Jr. of Eleele, Jabrielle (Dean) Richarde of Kahili Mountain, Shawn (Jolene) Pundyke of Hanamaulu; father, John Pundyke Jr. of Kapahi; mother, Eleanor (Melvin) Wilson of Wailua Homesteads; grandchildren, Leiani (Keith) Pimental, Kapena Pimental, Pulelehua Pundyke, Kealohi Pundyke, Anuhea Pundyke; siblings, Darlene (Howard) Ramos of Lihue, Brenda Vidinha of Anahola, Bradley Pundyke of Wailua Homesteads, Tammy (Sterling) Oana of Las Vegas, Nevada; best buddy, Shadow; numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Florence Kaleiohi Navas, 78, of Anahola, passed away on May 10, 2018. She was born on Jan. 7, 1940, in Lihue, Kauai, retired as a housekeeper.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Navas; parents, George Kaleiohi Sr and Hannah Kaleiohi.
She is survived by her children, Hannah Akau, Stanley Akau and Charlene Akau; step-children, Joann, Renee, Elizabeth, Joseph and Bernadette; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Esther (Vic) Pezario, Elaine Fernandez; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018, at Anahola Koolau Huiia Church, from 9 to 10 a.m. and services to follow.
Hunter John Ellsworth Bilbo
Hunter John Ellsworth Bilbo, 24, born on June 30, 1993, and raised on Kauai, passed away on Sleeping Giant Mountain on June 18, 2018. He lived and worked in Boise, Idaho.
Hunter is survived by his sister, Lana Bilbo; mother, Darcy Attisani; step-father, Mark Ono; father, Peter Bilbo; his partner, Nattana Pummill; maternal grandmother, Lois Attisani; hanai-family, The Croydon Ohana; numerous aunties, uncles, cousins and friends.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Kealia Store/Post Office beginning at 1:30 p.m. A gathering will follow at Kealia Beach (North side) to spread flowers and continue with the celebration of Hunter’s life.
